But the sound quality was just terrible, compared to wi-fi connection (via AirServer).Īnyone have any ideas on how to get AirServer to work with all of my speakers? Or anyone have similiar problem?

With this method, I got sounds from all of my speakers. I tried different approach, by using bluetooth connection (without AirServer), so I set up my PC as a bluetooth headset. I've tried fiddling with AirServer's audio settings, windows 7's audio settings, realtek utility, etc, but still can't get AirServer to work with all of my speakers. No sounds from the subwoofer and other speakers. However, with AirServer, I can only get sounds from the 2 main speakers (front left and right). It worked well with other programs on my PC. My sound card is Realtek ALC887 (with latest driver), capable of upmixing/emulating 5.1 speaker signals from ordinary stereo sources. I can play games on my Ipad, and the audio would be coming out of my PC speaker.Īnyway, I've set up AirServer on my PC, and all went well. I like AirServer because of it's minimal lag time in audio streaming. Yes, I know it's an outdated iOS device, but it's a shame to waste a good functioning device I'm using it to Airplay audio from my Ipad 1. So, a few days ago I've purchased/installed AirServer for Windows 7. I've sent this question to AirServer developer a few days ago, but still no answer from them. I know this question would be better addressed to the AirServer developer. Other great apps like AirServer are Airflow, Mirroring360, Reflector and ApowerMirror.

Its not free, so if youre looking for a free alternative, you could try LetsView or Gnomecast. Sorry in advance if this is the wrong place/thread to ask. There are more than 10 alternatives to AirServer for a variety of platforms, including Mac, Windows, iPhone, iPad and Android.
